Upcoming episodes of the tvN drama “Captivating the King” will feature a shocking twist as Jo Jung-seok and Shin Se-kyung’s characters share a passionate kiss.
In the previous episode, Shin Se-kyung’s character, Kang Hee-soo, almost had her identity as a woman revealed while working with Jo Jung-seok’s character, Lee In. However, she managed to escape the crisis with the help of a doctor.
The end of the episode saw the two characters’ emotions reach a boiling point after Lee In mentions their promise from three years ago. Lee In confesses his feelings for Kang Hee-soo, saying, “I like you, Mong-u.”
In the upcoming episode, the drama will raise the stakes even further with a scene of Lee In and Kang Hee-soo kissing.
In the released stills, the two characters are in a close-knit space, their faces close enough to hear each other’s breathing. Kang Hee-soo leans in and kisses Lee In, who is caught off guard but does not push her away.
The tension is further heightened by the tears welling up in Kang Hee-soo’s eyes and Lee In’s gaze, which is filled with longing.
It remains to be seen whether Lee In will discover Kang Hee-soo’s true identity in this episode.
The production team teased, “In this episode, Kang Hee-soo’s emotions, which she has been suppressing in order to carry out her revenge, will finally explode.”
