Actress Kim Seul Gi’s mother passed away on the 21st. Kim Seul Gi is reportedly guarding the funeral home with her family in grief. The funeral home is located at the Busan Danggam-dong On jonghap Hospital Funeral Home, Special Room 1. The funeral will be held at 9:30 am on the 23rd. She will be buried at the Busan Yeongdo Park, and then at the Shin-eo Memorial Park in the Gyeongnam Yeongmyo Park.
Born in 1991, Kim Seul Gi debuted in the play ‘Return to Hamlet’ in 2011. She made her face known by appearing as a crew member on tvN’s variety show ‘Saturday Night Live Korea’ Season 1 from 2011 and appeared until Season 4 in 2013 before leaving. Since then, she has been actively appearing in dramas and movies. Some of her notable works include “Discovery of Romance” , “Oh My Ghost,” “Queen of the Ring”, “Shh, Please Take Care of Him”, “Gift,” “Take Off 2”, and “The Highway Family”.
In 2013, Kim Seul Gi appeared on OnStyle’s ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream: Sonagi’ and talked about her mother while sharing the story of how she was able to grow from an ordinary theater and film student to a popular actress who crosses over theater stages, broadcasting, musicals, movies, and CFs. At the time, Kim Seul Gi said, “I had dreamed of becoming an actress since I was in high school, but my family was not well-off.
