Park Bo-ram, a South Korean singer, passed away unexpectedly on April 11th at the age of 30. The circumstances surrounding her death are currently under investigation.

Following the shocking news of the sudden loss of the young singer, on April 12, 2024, the agency of singer “Park Bo Ram” (XANADU Entertainment) released a statement announcing that Park Bo Ram had passed away suddenly on the evening of April 11.
According to a statement released by Namyangju Nambu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province on April 12th, Park Bo-ram was at a friend’s residence in Namyangju City on the evening of April 11th with two female companions. Around 9:55 pm, she collapsed after using the restroom.
When Park Bo-ram did not emerge after a significant amount of time, her friends grew concerned and went to check on her. They discovered her unconscious and face-down on the bathroom floor. They immediately contacted emergency services and performed CPR until help arrived.
Park Bo-ram was transported to Hanyang Univ. Guri Hospital by responding officers, but was sadly pronounced dead at approximately 11:17 pm.
A preliminary investigation revealed no signs of external injuries or foul play. The police are requesting an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death.
“Due to the ongoing investigation, specific details are difficult to disclose at this time,” stated a police officer.
Park Bo-ram’s passing was confirmed by her agency, Xenadu Entertainment. In a statement, they expressed their deep sorrow: “Park Bo-ram suddenly left us late at night on April 11th. We are even more heartbroken to deliver this sudden news to the fans who supported Park Bo-ram.”
The agency added, “The funeral arrangements will be made in consultation with the bereaved family. We offer our deepest condolences to the deceased once again.”
