South Korean actor Kang Ki-young is grieving the passing of his older brother.
Kang’s agency, Namoo Actors, confirmed the news on May 15 to Newsen, stating, “Kang Ki-young has suffered a bereavement in his family.”
According to the agency, Kang’s older brother passed away at the age of 44. The funeral is being held at Ajou University Hospital Funeral Building. The body will be laid to rest at Seoul Memorial Park on May 17 at 9 AM. Kang is currently at the funeral home with his wife and parents.
Meanwhile, Kang Ki-young is known for his roles in various television dramas, including “High School King of Savvy,” “Oh My Ghost,” “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” “The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch,” and “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.”
