Is ‘Han Ji Min’ Making a Big Mistake? Choi Jung Hoon’s Controversial Past Revealed.
Amid increasing public interest, actress Han Ji Min and Choi Jung Hoon, the leader of the band Jannabi, have officially confirmed their romantic relationship.
On the 8th, just 10 minutes after dating rumors began, both Han Ji Min and Choi Jung Hoon’s agencies confirmed the news, making their romance public.
BH Entertainment, Han Ji Min’s agency, stated, “The two first met through the show ‘The Seasons Season 2: Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park‘ and recently developed into a romantic relationship.” Choi Jung Hoon’s agency, Peponi Music, also confirmed this information.
Choi Jung Hoon’s father, Mr. Choi, was arrested in 2022 on fraud charges. The Suwon District Court sentenced him to three years in prison and ordered his immediate arrest.
Mr. Choi had received a total of 900 million won from a company by promising to give them the rights to distribute apartments in a complex being developed in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do. However, the prosecution argued that Mr. Choi had no intention or ability to provide these rights due to financial difficulties and the fact that he had not received approval from the Yongin city government.
Even though Mr. Choi was released on bail for over two years, he was eventually taken into custody at the sentencing hearing because there were concerns that he might flee.
Choi Jung Hoon was also involved in controversy when allegations surfaced that his father had bribed former Justice Minister Kim Hak-ui. At that time, his agency stated that Choi Jung Hoon and his brother had only lent their names to their father’s business and had no role in managing it. The investigative team looking into Kim Hak-ui’s case also clarified that there was no investigation related to Choi Jung-hoon.
Han Ji Min was born in 1982, while Choi Jung Hoon was born in 1992, making them ten years apart in age. It has been revealed that Han Ji Min is a fan of Jannabi.
