Agencies Confirm Wedding Plans
On July 8th, singer-songwriter Yong Jun-hyung’s agency, BLACK MADE, released a statement regarding the upcoming nuptials of Yong Jun-hyung and HyunA.
“Yong Jun-hyung and HyunA have decided to hold a wedding ceremony with close acquaintances in October out of their deep affection and trust for each other,” the statement reads. “Please send your warm attention and congratulations to Yong Jun-hyung as he embarks on a new chapter in his life as a married couple with HyunA.”
Former Cube Entertainment Idols Now Successful Soloists
Both HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung are former idols who rose to fame under Cube Entertainment. Currently, they are both active in the music scene as solo artists.
HyunA’s musical journey began in 2007 with the girl group Wonder Girls. After leaving the group in 2009, she joined 4minute. Throughout her career, she has achieved success as a soloist with hit songs like “Change,” “Bubble Pop!,” and “Red.”
Yong Jun-hyung debuted in 2009 with the boy group Highlight. In 2019, he decided to leave the group and has since pursued a solo career.
Relationship Confirmation Earlier This Year
The couple publicly announced their relationship through social media in January of this year.
