Calling all talented singers, dancers, and rappers! K-Pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY is searching for new members, and they recently held open auditions in Singapore’s Kallang Place. Over 120 hopefuls showed off their skills in singing, rapping, and dancing during their one-minute performances, hoping to snag a spot in the group.
If you impressed the judges, you’ll find out on February 9th! Those who make the cut will head to Thailand for the final round of auditions in March, competing against talent from across Southeast Asia.
This exciting revamp comes as FIFTY FIFTY is restructuring around their remaining member, Keena. Attrakt, the group’s agency, is holding auditions in several countries (including Korea, Japan, and Singapore) to find the perfect additions.
“We want to finalize the group’s second generation by April,” said an agency representative. “Our goal is to release new music by June!”
Remember FIFTY FIFTY? They debuted in November 2022 and their catchy song “Cupid” even made it onto the Billboard and UK charts! Things got complicated in June 2023 when the members tried to suspend their contracts, but only Keena stayed on board. The agency is now searching for new talent to join Keena and form a fresh FIFTY FIFTY.
