Studio Santa Claus Entertainment announced that filming for “Go-To Restaurant” wrapped up on July 30th. This movie, which actor Ma Dong Seok is producing and overseeing, is a mystery thriller that follows a workaholic English teacher on a quest to find her missing mom. It’s also a touching story about how the neighborhood folks come together.
’Joo Hyun-young’ plays the lead role of ’Oh Mi Won’. She’s someone who goes through a big life change and sets off on this adventure. People are really excited to see Joo in this new role, especially since she first made a name for herself on “SNL Korea” and has been in various dramas since then.
’Kim Mi-kyung’ is playing Mi-won’s mother, Jeong Ye Bun, and Jung Yong Hwa is taking on the role of Cha Ki Yong, a character who’s starting fresh. Both actors are set to bring their roles to life with their performances.
’Kim Mi-kyung’, in particular, is expected to shine as the owner of Mi-won Baekban, a restaurant that steers clear of artificial seasonings.
The film is directed by Han Jay, who’s well-regarded for works like “No Heaven, But Love” and “I Can’t.” Now, he’s ready to show us “Go-To Restaurant.”
Ma Dong Seok was deeply involved in every part of this project—from picking the concept to developing the screenplay and overseeing the production. This shows off his skills as a producer, which we’ve seen before in movies like “The Outlaws,” “The Roundup” series, the Netflix film “Badland Hunters,” and “Holy Night: Demon Hunters.”
“Go-To Restaurant” is set to hit theaters next year once post-production is complete.
