On July 8, Park Seo-joon is set to make his small-screen comeback with a new romance drama titled “Waiting for Gyeongdo” (as reported on July 8 by TV Daily). Park Seo-joon has been cast in the lead role of Gyeongdo.
The drama will be directed by Im Hyun-wook, known for his work on “King the Land,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” and “Life.” The script will be written by Yoo Young-ah, who penned popular works like “Encounter,” “Thirty-Nine,” and “Divorce Attorney Shin.” Her additional credits include “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” “Wedding Dress,” and “The Tower.” The drama is currently in discussions for broadcast on JTBC.
Park Seo-joon: A Rom-Com Favorite
Park Seo-joon is known for his roles in popular romantic comedies such as “She Was Pretty”, “Fight for My Way”, “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?”, and “Itaewon Class”, and “Gyeongseong Creature“. He is expected to bring his signature charm and charisma to the role of Waiting for Gyeongdo.
In addition to “Waiting for Gyeongdo”, Park Seo-joon is also currently appearing on the tvN variety show “Jinny’s Kitchen 2” and is gearing up for the release of the Netflix original series “Gyeongseong Creature Season 2” later this year.
