Actor Gong Yoo is mourning the loss of his father, who passed away peacefully on February 5th at the age of 78. The news was confirmed by Gong Yoo’s agency, Management SOOP, on February 7th.
The father’s funeral will be held on February 8th at the Asan Hospital funeral hall in Seoul. The family will be holding a private wake to grieve their loss.
Gong Yoo, known for his roles in hit dramas like “Coffee Prince,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” and “Squid Game,” as well as films like “Train to Busan” and “Seo Bok,” is taking time off to be with his family during this difficult time.
