Seo In-Guk Hints at a Bromance with Ryu Soo-Young and Lee Seung-Yoon on ‘Jungle Bob’
On august 12th, Seo In-Guk has made a surprising announcement about his latest on-screen friendship. Known for his quirky bromance with Ahn Jae-hyun in a music video, he’s now teasing a new bond forming on the set of the upcoming SBS variety show, ‘Jungle Bob’.
Along with Ryu Soo-Young, Lee Seung-Yoon, Uie, and PD Kim Jin-ho, Seo In-Guk admitted that he’s become really close with his male co-stars. “I really like my hyungs,” he shared at the show’s press conference. “Since I only have younger sisters, I tend to cling to my male colleagues and get physically affectionate.”
He even playfully warned Ahn Jae-hyun to “close your eyes” during the show, hinting at how close he is with Ryu Soo-Young and Lee Seung-Yoon. Lee Seung-Yoon confirmed this by saying, “In-Guk was really clingy. He even massaged me! He’s a lovable younger brother.” Ryu Soo-Young agreed, calling Seo In-Guk a “lovable character.”
’Jungle Bob’ is set to offer a cool mix of adventure and cultural exchange. The cast will explore the wild food culture of primitive tribes while also introducing Korean food to the jungle. Seo In-Guk, who has a lot of experience with reality shows, shared his excitement about the program, calling it a “healing” experience.
He even mentioned wanting to be a regular on the show, saying, “I told the PD I wanted to continue. It’s a program that gives me a good experience in my life.”
One of the standout moments of the show is expected to be Ryu Soo-Young’s cooking skills. Seo In-Guk praised him, especially for how he can turn unusual jungle ingredients into tasty dishes. “Ryu Soo-Young hyung made sushi with maguro shark that was the best sushi I’ve ever had,” he said. “He also made kimchi stew with tuna head, and it was incredible.”
