STAYC Kicks Off Showcase with “1 Thing,” Marking Their Return After 11 Months
K-pop girl group STAYC marked marked the release of their first full-length album, “Metamorphic.” The group held the event on July 1st at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, just hours after dropping their highly anticipated album. STAYC kicked off the showcase with their upbeat track “1 Thing,” marking their return to the music scene after approximately 11 months.
Expressing Excitement and Sharing Updates
Expressing their excitement about the album, the members shared, “It’s been about four years since our debut, and this is our first full-length album. We’ve been preparing for it for a long time, so it’s an album that truly represents STAYC.”
The showcase also served as an opportunity for STAYC (Sumin, Park Si Eun, Isa, Se-eun, Yoon, J) to catch up with fans and share updates on their busy schedules following their successful “TEENFRESH” world tour earlier this year. The group filled the venue with energy, performing a medley of their hit songs and engaging in behind-the-scenes talks.

In a special home shopping-themed segment, STAYC transformed into one-day shopping show hosts, playfully introducing the details of the physical album. They also serenaded fans with their refreshing sounds, performing their fan song “Stay WITH me” and “Flexing On My Ex,” both of which feature member participation in songwriting.
Sweetening the Deal with “Sweet Choice”
To make the fan showcase even more special, STAYC prepared a “Sweet Choice” corner where they interacted with fans and fulfilled their requests.

As the showcase drew to a close, the group expressed their gratitude to fans for their unwavering support. “We’re so grateful to STAYC (fans) for waiting for our first full-length album,” they said. “We hope to continue making happy memories with you every year.”
