On the Feb 18th episode of KBS2’s “2 Days & 1 Night (1박 2일)”, the members traveled to the historic city of Miryang in Gyeongsangnam-do. Lee Chan-won’s performance on “2 Days & 1 Night, Season 4,” airing tonight, February 18th at 6:10 PM KST!
Na In-woo was a hot topic from the opening due to his popularity with the song “Marry My Husband.” Moon Se-yoon asked, “You’re even popular in America. Is it okay to be walking around like this with no makeup?” and Kim Jong-min expressed his jealousy, saying, “I saw an article that said you want people to forget about the second Kim Jong-min. Is that true?” Na In-woo responded, “No, that’s not what I said,” and clarified, “I am the Kim Jong-min.”
The members gathered in Miryang to find “Mr. Lee” and completed various missions to obtain hints. While traveling, DinDin revealed that he was the first to feature on Park Ji-yoon’s Mystery when it was released, and confessed to a black history of getting the lyrics wrong on stage.
After finishing the second round, the members obtained the hints “from Gyeongsang-do,” “male,” and “surname Lee.” However, these were not enough to narrow down the possibilities. Through the third round mission of matching the lyrics of “Miryang Arirang,” the hints of a height below 2m and a picture of “Mr. Lee’s” lips were provided. The production team then revealed “Mr. Lee” objectively, and the candidates were narrowed down to Lee Yi-kyung, Lee Kyung-kyu, and Lee Chan-won.
The true identity of “Mr. Lee” was Lee Chan-won. Kim Jong-min, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho successfully guessed the answer. Lee Chan-won proved to be a “real fan” by knowing the broadcast date and episode number of “2 Days & 1 Night.” He also said that he liked Kim Jong-min because he had appeared on the show with him as an MC, but Kim Jong-min himself did not remember the title “Pong Disparu,” which made him feel disappointed. Lee Chan-won also expressed his desire to meet the “2 Days & 1 Night” production team, which made everyone laugh. He also sorted out the terms of address with the members, calling them “older brother” and “younger brother”, and raised expectations by saying that there was nothing he couldn’t do.
After the meal, Lee Chan-won revealed about his popularity, saying, “I have about 60,000 fan cafe members.” When asked about his earnings last year, he said, “When I perform, 50 tour buses come,” proving his popularity.
